We Continue to Help Victims of Hurricane Helene, as We Anticipate the Effects of Hurricane Milton
25 trucks of supplies have been shipped or ordered in the last ten days to assist congregations following Hurricane Helene.
On Tuesday 10/8/24, and Wednesday 10/9/24, trucks are scheduled to be delivered to Forrest Park Church of Christ in Valdosta, GA, and the Gaskin Ave church, and the congregation that meets on Martin Luther King Drive in Douglas, GA, the Rutherfordton church in Rutherfordton, NC, and the Boone church in Boone, NC, the Elizabethton church in Elizabethton, TN, and the Biltmore Church in Asheville, NC. On Thursday, 10/10/24, we are scheduled to deliver a truck to the Greenville church, in Greenville, TN.
We are communicating with congregations in Florida, anticipating the landfall of a very dangerous Hurricane Milton. Our prayers are with our Christian family and everyone in the path of this potentially devastating storm.
We are planning to run the food line to pack boxes for all of these locations on Wednesday, 10/9/24 and Friday, 10/11/24. If you are able to assist, please join us at 10 am CT at 410 Allied Dr. in Nashville. (Please, insurance restrictions dont allow workers under 16.)
Our heartfelt thanks to all of our volunteers and to everyone involved in assisting those impacted. God bless you all!"
