Continuing to Help Families Affected by Helene

It has been a week since Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida. The devastation has stretched over 6 states, with a quarter of a million power outages still impacting the southeast. Over 200 deaths and hundreds are still missing.

CCDRE has provided/scheduled 21 truckloads of relief supplies to date. Additional locations include Cross City, FL; Rutherfordton, NC, and Boone, NC. Also, a truck will be unloaded in Abingdon, Virginia at the Abingdon Church of Christ this Sunday afternoon (10/6) at 1pm.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who help pack boxes, our volunteer truck drivers who are delivering, and the congregations that want to help, working tirelessly to reach out to suffering communities. God bless all of these efforts and to God be the glory.

We will continue to work to assist those in need in the coming days, weeks, and months ahead.
