Ready to Help Hurricane Milton Survivors

Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night at Siesta Key, FL, near Sarasota. The storm crossed the Florida peninsula, causing severe damage along its entire path. In addition to the hurricane winds and storm surge, 38 tornadoes were confirmed from Hurricane Milton, some were as strong as EF-3 twisters. There have been multiple fatalities reported. CCDRE is in contact with multiple congregations as everyone attempts to assess and determine how we can be of assistance. We will update as more information is available.

We have a request for a shipment of supplies to be delivered Saturday morning at the Sorento Hills Church in Sorento, Florida.

Another shipment is requested for a Monday morning delivery at the Liberty City Church in Savannah, Georgia.

Then Tuesday morning the Hendersonville Church in Henderdonville, North Carolina has requested a second shipment.

Trucks were unloaded today in Greeneville, TN and Quitman, GA. We are receiving reports of amazing efforts from congregations in multiple states, assisting people in dire need. Hundreds of Bible studies are being set up and conducted.

Thank you for your prayers and support as the brotherhood reaches out to help those in this time of great need.
