We Are in Contact with Florida Congregations
Residents across storm ravaged Florida are assessing the damage and destruction from Hurricane Milton. We are in contact with congregations in Ft.Myers, Port Charlotte, Venice, Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, New Port Richey, Clearwater and Lakeland. At this point, we have trucks ready to respond when any congregations request supplies.
A CCDRE truck is scheduled to unload early Saturday morning in Sorrento, FL, which was hit hard by the northern eye wall of Hurricane Milton. The Midway congregation in Ft. Pierce is evaluating needs after the deadly tornadoes spawned by Milton caused massive destruction and loss of life.
Those congregations in six states ravaged by Hurricane Helene are continuing to distribute supplies, almost two weeks after the storm. Trucks are scheduled for Hendersonville, NC, Savannah, GA, and Quitman, GA next week.
Please continue to pray for those being assisted, many whom still have no power or water.
Many thanks for your prayers and support for all of those involved in contributing, packing, transporting and distributing 29 trucks in under two weeks!
God bless you!
