Two Shipments of Supplies to Lake Charles, LA

Monday, May 17th, areas of Lake Charles, LA received up to 18” of rain. There was a flash flood emergency, and up to 100 people needed to be rescued by boat. Lake Charles was in the middle of trying to rebuild and recover from back to back hurricanes last fall. The first shipment of supplies to the Church of Christ on Enterprise Boulevard in Lake Charles, was unloaded yesterday morning. All of the cleaning supplies provided on that shipment were handed out to those in need yesterday. This afternoon, a second trailer of supplies will leave our Nashville warehouse, also going to the Boulevard church to be unloaded early Friday at their church building.
