Tennessee Storm Victims Receive Three Trucks of Supplies

On Oct. 26th the west Tennessee counties of McNairy, Decatur and Hardin were devastated by a large storm, prompting the mayors of two of the counties to declare States of Emergency. Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort was first notified of the need for aid on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 31st, and our first truck load arrived the following morning at the Scotts Hill church of Christ. It took just two hours to distribute the whole load and another truck was requested. The second truck arrived on Saturday and soon it was decided that a third truck would be necessary. That truck departed Monday morning and, from all accounts, has been distributed as well. WBBJ TV, a dual ABC and CBS affiliate in Jackson, TN, was on hand for the first delivery and their report can be viewed here: https://www.wbbjtv.com/2019/11/01/truckload-of-donations-delivered-to-scotts-hill/ This video link is allowable per Section 2, Paragraph 4 of the Terms of Use.
