More Trailers of Supplies to Louisiana

As we mentioned in our previous post about help sent to Louisiana, the first two trailers were unloaded Saturday morning in Sulphur, LA, and Lake Charles , LA. And a third shipment was unloaded Monday around noon at the DeRidder church, in DeRidder, LA. The two deliveries of supplies for Sulphur, and Lake Charkes were distributed quickly, with many still in need. We received requests for additional shipments for both of these locations, so Tuesday morning we delivered the 4th shipment to Louisiana at the Maplewood church in Sulphur, LA, and the 5th shipment to the Enterprise Blvd church in Lake Charles.

This afternoon the 6th and 7th shipments of supplies for hurricane victims will be leaving our Nashville warehouse. The first of today’s shipments will unload at 10am tomorrow morning at the Pineville Church of Christ, in Pineville, LA, and the second shipment today will unload at the Cypress Creek Church of Christ, in Oakdale, LA

We have another small group of people from one congregation here today packing food boxes, but with small numbers due to the COVID lockdown, they will be able to pack 3 to 4 pallets of food boxes. One shipment of supplies we’re sending to those hit by Hurricane Laura, we're sending 10 pallets of food boxes, along with a lot of other much needed supplies. So again, our request to you, if you’re in the Nashville area, and can get a group of 6 to 10 people together, that would be available Monday through Friday between 9am and 3pm to come pack food boxes, that don’t have problems standing on their feet, and walking up and down our food line, we could use your help for 4 hours or more, to help us get caught back up. If you can get a group together, come up with several different days that your group could come to our warehouse, and call us to see what days are available, and we will put your group on our calendar of those coming to help.

We couldn’t do what we do without the help from our caring brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you!
