Additional Shipments to Louisiana & California

On Wednesday September 15 a shipment left our Nashville warehouse headed to the Chester Church of Christ in Chester, California. The trailer was unloaded in Chester by church members Monday Sept 20th. The Chester church is helping those affected by the wildfire that began in July in California.

Saturday morning, 9/18, a second 53’ trailer full of supplies was unloaded at the Pear Ridge church in Hammond, LA

Monday the 20th, at noon, the N 32nd Street Church of Christ from Baton Rouge unloaded a trailer at a school building in Vacherie, LA. Their is no church in Vacherie, but area congregations are helping families in that area, hoping that a new congregation might be established in Vacherie. This afternoon, 9/22 a second shipment of supplies will leave for Vacherie, that will unload tomorrow morning so that they can continue to help those in need.

We are aware of several other areas that need help closer to the coast, but roads and bridges are still out due to all of the rain received from Hurricane Nicholas.
