Third Supply Truck Delivered for Alabama Tornado

The first truckload of supplies to help those in the Fultondale Alabama area that was hit by an EF-3 tornado on January 26th was delivered at the Decatur Highway church of Christ building on January 27th.

On Friday the 29th we received word that the Center Point Church of Christ wanted a truck, because they got the okay to use the Center Point Community Center as a distribution point, and it was closer to the area hit by the tornado, but they told us they wanted it a 10am Monday, Feb 1st. One of our volunteer drivers left our warehouse at 6am, and was there to unload at 10 by the members of the Center Point church.

By Tuesday afternoon, the 53’ trailer full of supplies had been completely distributed. The Decatur Highway church brought what they had left from their shipment to the Center Point Community Center to be handed to those affected by the tornado. They called us on Feb 2nd, to let us know everything they’d received was given to those in need and they wanted another full trailer of supplies this morning at 10am. Again, a driver left our warehouse shortly after 6am in Nashville, to deliver the third truck of supplies to that area, this one going again to the Center Point church using the Community Center.

A lot of lives are being touched with this help. We thank you for your support and prayers for this work.
