Supplies Shipped to tornado devastated areas in Alabama & Georgia

This morning two Semi-trailers loaded with pre-packed, ready to be distributed, supplies left our Nashville warehouse for areas in Alabama and Georgia where 35 tornadoes had been reported Thursday, January 12th. The death count was 9, but there are several reports of a 10th body found.

About 1pm EST, one of the 53’ semi-trailers will unloaded at the Westside Church of Christ in Griffin, GA, south of Atlanta about 45 miles. One of the deaths reported in Georgia was a 5 year old boy that was killed when a tree fell on the car that he and his mother were in Thursday. The Mother was not hurt.

The other shipment will be unloaded about 1pm CST, at the Prattville Church of Christ in Prattville, AL. Autauga County, AL, located in central Alabama, is where 7 lost their lives.

Please keep these families, and all of those helping with this devastation in your prayers. We appreciate your prayers very much, and we appreciate your support so we can continue this work to help others in need when major disasters have occurred in the US and US Territories.
