Shipment of Supplies Headed to Springfield, Vermont

You are probably aware of all the rain taking place in the Northeastern US. We’ve been in touch with 35 congregations throughout the areas that are flooding. 1 life was taken by the flooding in Hudson Valley, New York. Many streets and communities are under water, many roads are washed out. The long term forecast is for rain and showers throughout the rest of July in the Northeast.

Vermont has been hit the hardest with up to 9” of rain in many areas, with Vermont’s Capital City, Montpelier, being underwater. We have received the first request for a shipment of basic supplies needed by families from the Springfield Church of Christ, in Springfield, Vermont. The shipment should be unloaded by their church members in Springfield aout noon eastern time tomorrow, July 12.
