Help to Tornado Survivors in Mississippi

Last evening, March 24th, severe weather was forecast again for the Southeast. Around 8:50 pm a tornado was reported on the ground in the area of Silver City, and Rolling Fork, MS. The tornado was on the ground approximately 100 miles, causing damage in four counties. 23 lives were lost, dozens injured, and some missing. We have been in contact with congregations in Amory, and Winona. We are still trying to contact someone with the church in Rolling Fork.

A shipment of supplies will be unloaded tomorrow afternoon about 1pm at the Amory Church of Christ in Amory, MS. As we help, we will post it here and on our Facebook page (facebook.com/disasterreliefeffort)

Also, if you live in the Nashville, TN area, we will be running our food line and packing 1,500 family food boxes Tuesday, March 28th at 10am. If you can be on your feet about 2 hours on Tuesday, to help pack these food boxes, we’d appreciate you help at our warehouse at 410 Allied Dr, Nashville 37211.
