Calls Made to 31 Congregations in the Path of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debby, Supplies Delivered to Valley View,TX
When we heard of the path of Hurricane Debby, Ken Lowry, our Associate Director covering the Southeast, was making calls to congregations along the path the hurricane was expected to take, telling them we were ready to send them help if they needed it. The storm is moving slowly dumping a lot of rain, and is about to go back out into the Atlantic Ocean, where with the warm ocean water, it could build back it’s strength to become a hurricane again before it is expected to hit land again in South Carolina. We have been touch with the Cedar Keys church in Florida, and they said they didn’t believe they were going to need any supplies from us at this time. When we hear from other congregations, we will post it here.
This morning at 9am, our Semi tractor Trailer pulled up to the Valley View church building in Valley View, TX to continue to help those recovering from Hurricane Beryl and the flooding it caused.
Please be praying for all of those in the southeastern US that are in the path of Hurricane/tropical storm Debby!
