St. Joseph, MO Floods

Yesterday afternoon, a trailer load of supplies left our Nashville warehouse for St. Joseph, MO. On Monday morning, July 20th, St. Joseph received 5 inches of rain, causing Contrary Creek to rise above flood stage, and flood the south end of St.Joseph. Several hundred homes were flooded. Yesterday we received word from the East Hills church of Christ in St. Joseph to send a trailer load of supplies. It will be unloaded this morning at 312 W. Colorado Avenue, and members of East Hills will distribute the supplies to those in need.

We stand ready to send more trailer loads of supplies to help others where major disasters have displaced hundreds of families from their homes. Thank you for your prayers for this work, and for those affected by these flood waters.
