Shipment of Supplies for Flood Victims in Belpre, Ohio

Due to the heavy rains from the storms earlier this week, the Ohio River has reached flood stage in some areas. Our Associate Director in the Northeast, Dwane Casteel, has been reaching out to congregations along the Ohio River in areas where flood warnings were issued.

Yesterday morning we received a request for a 53’ Trailer full of food, personal hygiene, infant care, water, and cleaning supplies to the Belpre Church of Christ in Belpre, OH. The truck left our warehouse yesterday afternoon about 4pm, and will be unloaded by the church members at the Belpre church building this morning, to be distributed to anyone in the area affected by the flooding.

The Ohio River had not crested yesterday, so we may still hear from other areas needing help.
