We have contacted congregations about recent storm damage

We are aware of tornadoes hitting Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas, along with flooding in Alabama the last few days. We have a truckload of supplies requested for a Saturday morning (6/24) delivery by the Meridian Street church of Christ in Moss Point, Mississippi. Members will unload the trailer at their building Saturday morning. We are in contact with Louin, MS also, but no request at this time. We have been in touch with congregations in Mobile, Alabama about any need in that area due to the flooding. No requests so far.

This morning we were able to get in touch with the church in Matador, TX. The damage to homes is not as high in number as you would think, we’re told about 15 homes. Area congregations in the Texas Panhandle are going to help those families in Matador, and they will probably go to the church in Perryton where we delivered supplies last Saturday to pick up items to take back to Matador. We appreciate the area congregations helping their brothers and sisters in Christ in Matador and Perryton!
