| SEVERE FLOODING IN GEORGIA |

Georgians were deluged with flooding waters during the last several weeks. There were many reported fatalities, submerged homes, knocked out power, and severe damage to businesses and homes throughout the area.
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief immediately sent truck loads of food, cleaning supplies, baby supplies, water, linens, beds & frames, and many other supplies to Douglasville, Mableton, Rossville, Summerville, & Woodstock, GA. Some of the congregations, which served as distribution centers, took supplies to other nearby congregations, so several other disaster victims could be aided.
When the victims are allowed back in their homes, we will start sending new appliances to several home owners. So far, a total of over $802,469.08 worth of supplies has been carried to various disaster areas in Georgia.
