| HEAVY RAINS CAUSE DISASTER IN LIVINGSTON, TN |

As heavy storms went through Overton County, TN on July 15, massive flooded occurred throughout the area around Livingston, TN. Creek beds swelled, roads started washing away, and houses filled with water in no time. Some homeowners had to swim for their lives from their houses to higher ground. Some victims clung to trees waiting to be rescued, when their cars were suddenly swept away by the unexpected rushing waters.
Churches of Christ Disaster Relief immediately sent a semi-truck load of supplies to the area the next day. The Livingston Church of Christ is serving as a distribution center. Food, bedding, cleaning supplies, brooms, mops, clothing, shoes, water, and many other items are available to the flood victims at the Livingston Church of Christ in Livingston, TN. The Livingston Church of Christ is located at 215 E. Main Street. More supplies will be taken to the area as needed by Disaster Relief.
