| DISASTER RELIEF SENDS SUPPLIES TO TORNADO VICTIMS IMMEDIATELY |

When a F3 tornado battered a 15 mile stretch in Murfreesboro, TN on April 10, 2009, Churches of Christ Disaster Relief immediately went to work preparing to send truck loads of supplies to the disaster victims. A truck was sent out the next day, April 11th, to the Kingswood Heights Church of Christ in Murfreesboro. Several hundred food boxes were on the scene immediately, and plans were made to send more when distribution centers could be arranged.
In addition to sending supplies to Murfreesboro, TN, truck loads of supplies were sent to Oklahoma to help fire victims, and 1 truck load was sent to Arkansas to help ice storm survivors.
Thanks to the generous response received in our plea for help in January, Disaster Relief has been able to deliver 39 tractor-trailer loads of supplies to disaster victims during January, February, and March of this year.
