Trailer of Supplies Unloaded in Freeport, IL

Home  /  Latest News  /  Current Page

This morning a trailer full of supplies backed up to an empty warehouse in Freeport, IL to be unloaded by the members of the Freeport Church of Christ, so the supplies can be distributed by members to flood victims throughout Stephenson County. Heaviest hit areas were Lena and Pearl City. The Pecatonica River flows through the area, and could not hold all the water from the rains they received over the weekend. This morning at 9:30 A.M. the water level was at 14.44 ft, while flood stage is 13 feet. The truck unloaded in a central location in Freeport, so they could help throughout Stephenson County.

Please pray for those affected by these flood waters. Thank you for supporting COCDRE, so we can continue to help others in need during times like this.
