Tuesday February 28th, late winter season tornadoes hit central Illinois, about an hour southwest of Chicago. Tornadoes also hit near Perrville, MO. Then on March 1st, during the time for morning traffic and kids going to school, tornadoes hit the Nashville, TN area!

Some of the more severe damage occurred in Lasalle County, IL, in Ottawa and the Village of Naplate. The Ottawa Church of Christ has requested a truckload of supplies delivered to their building. The trailer is being loaded this morning, and will be leaving this afternoon, to be unloaded by the members at their building tomorrow, Friday March 3rd. They plan on opening for distribution early Saturday morning, and to have people there to help those victims throughout that area. We have heard of 1 that was killed when a tree was uprooted, an unknown number of people were injured. In Ottawa, the LaSalle County Nursing home was hit, causing some bumps and bruises to some residents, but nothing serious.

We have been in touch with numerous areas where the tornadoes took place, and so far this is the only heavily damaged area that has requested a trailer full of our supplies, that has a high need for large quantity of supplies we provide.
